very clean, showers were hot, ample soap / shampoo / conditioner, slippers provided, hairdryer, ear plugs and free toothbrush available, bed linen was clean and blanket was thick, walls were thick enough I wasn't disturbed at night by sounds from neighbours. 3 washing machines (no need to add soap) available which only accept coins but staff readily changed my notes for coins. no need to share the room even though it's a bunk bed, they just give you the whole room for one person. great location just 5min walk from the JR station and aeon. really like the free breakfast, supper and hot/cold water at the counter

Great location and the facilities exceeded all expections for a so-called hostel. Apart from shared bathrooms, this could easily be a regular hotel which everything you need for a comfortable stay. Even had a station to wax and edge your skis or snowboard. Location is incredibly convenient. Close to the station and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff provided great recommendations for places to eat. The common area was quiet and had a great bar with excellent selections. Breakfast was simple but really good for a big day ahead. Bathrooms and rooms were clean and tidy. Couldn't hear noise from neighbours (but more about that later). Simple check in and out and luggage storage.

9 C felt like a home away from home from the moment you stepped in the hotel. This was just a stop over stay for us but we immediately wished we could stay longer. The staff were super helpful and friendly and there were so many details thought about around the property to help make your time there more comfortable. There was also plenty of showers and toilets on each level, so you never had to wait for amenities. The property is located a street back from the train station and there’s plenty of eateries located a short walk from 9C.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from Asahikawa train station. The bus stop for Asahiyama Zoo is not far. Tokiwa Park is easily reachable on foot, it’s only 20 minutes walk away. The common area is VERY cosy. There is also a small space where it is possible to store the luggage. The bar offers both hot drinks and also alcoholic drinks as well as some small food options (sweets).

Everything was so clean and the staff so nice. The hostel feels really comfortable and open to everyone. The breakfast was nice and they even proposed a "late" meal, which is some instant noodles but I think that was really nice of them. I also tried their croffle and it was good. I had a really enjoyable stay there. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Asahikawa

Excellent location, very convenient for bus, train and exploring Asahikawa. Staff friendly and attentive. Cafe on sight that makes delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows, and equally delicious ginger tea. Free breakfast. Free coffee and tea. Sound proofed rooms, spotlessly clean shared toilet and shower facilities. Comfortable bed and room.

One of the best hostel I’ve visited in Japan yet. The personnel is kind, breakfast is simple but filling, the room was great, everything is clean

The place is close to the JR train station, and there are plenty of coin parking spots if you're driving. You'll find a bunch of restaurants just a short walk away. The room is decent for a night's rest, and they offer a simple Japanese breakfast. The shower and toilet are clean, plus there are plenty of amenities available.

The location was easy to find. There is a designated area to store your luggage if you arrive before check-in time. Free bicycle rentals are available, and you can use the bike lock for your luggage or travel bags. Alternatively, there is a personal locker (about the size of a 40L backpack) for 100 yen. The place for clean and the staff was extremely friendly!

Everything’s was really clean, the staff were friendly and the space in the lobby was cool to sit at. There were also some instruments to use.
